It is recommended strongly that you take out an insurance policy of your choice that includes loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Congress, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Canada, failure to utilize tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason (including issues related to the novel coronavirus, COVID-19), medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. Virtual Event Policies

Login details to the virtual platform will be only provided to attendees who have paid for their registration in full. Secure login details for the Congress will be sent approximately one week prior to the start of the Congress. The sharing of the virtual login details and platform is strictly prohibited as is the viewing by someone other than the registered participant. Failure to comply with the standards will result in access to the Congress platform being denied. No refund will be issued. Please do not attempt to use the login details on multiple devices or browsers. The system will only authorize the most recent device that was used to access, and you will be disconnected on your other device(s).

Delegates are responsible to ensure that their audio-visual system (e.g., computer, video, and microphone) complies with the requirements of ISPAH and the 8th ISPAH Congress. All delegates are required to test their computers prior to the virtual event to ensure compatibility. In the case of technical failure as the fault of the delegate, the delegate will still have access to the session recordings after the conclusion of Congress (refunds will not be provided). If a technical failure is the fault of the IT service provider and the event is not able to be broadcasted as planned, the Local Organizing Committee and ISPAH reserves the right to reschedule. Delegates that cannot participate in a rescheduled event live will be provided a secure link to the recordings after the conclusion of the Congress or they may request a prorated refund.

The Local Organizing Committee and ISPAH will make use of delegates' information provided during the registration process to manage, host, and evaluate delegate engagement during the virtual Congress. During registration, delegates may have opted to withhold the permission to share their information with third parties (such as sponsors and exhibitors). However, when participating in virtual events (such as chats and presentation discussions) the delegate's profile picture and associated name will be shared with others in attendance. During the Congress, delegates may also have the option to exchange information (such as virtual business cards) with other delegates, sponsors, or exhibitors, by doing so the delegates agree to share their data. Only the information that the delegates have chosen to share on the virtual platform and Congress app will be made available to other attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors through direct interaction. The privacy settings on the Congress app can be changed at any time.

Code of Conduct

All delegates and speakers are expected to act in a professional manner throughout the Congress to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in attendance. Inappropriate behaviour will not be accepted by the organizers or ISPAH. Delegates that are concerned about the behaviour of other attendees at the virtual Congress may reach out to the local organizing team ([email protected]; 1-604-822-1337). Delegates that have been deemed to act inappropriately may be removed from the event without warning and restricted from future ISPAH Congresses.
